Pecan Pie Muffins

These pecan pie muffins are an easy, decadent dessert - and they make a great holiday finger food.

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon optional


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease or line a muffin tin.
  • Combine butter and sugar in a mixing bowl before stirring in vanilla extract. Add pecans and eggs before stirring in flour and, if using, cinnamon.
  • Fill each muffin section ⅔ full and bake for 18-22 minutes.


For mini muffins, use the same recipe but use a miniature muffin tin and bake for 15-17 minutes. Makes about 24 mini muffins.
